Graduation

Today I step forward in my life and finish high school. For most this simply means that it is time to leave home and leave parents and friends, however for me it feels as though I am moving on with my spiritual journey. I will still be going to church at GGCC when I am home but what about the other days when I’m in the wonderful town of Laramie, Wyoming? Do I just not go to church? Do I ignore my faith? These are the times that a lot of young people can fall away from the faith. My goal is not to be one of them.

Pastor Dave talks about taking the faith outside of Sunday. This is what everyday everybody should be thinking. It never really hit me how important it is to be Christian more than just Sundays until this graduation season. When outside of high school and surrounded by more than the thousand or so students in school is when spreading Christ through simple things become most important. So my goal for this college experience is to hold onto my faith by every day doing at least something small to show Christ’s love and his message. We may not always make it to church on Sunday but we can bring a little bit of church with us everywhere we go to make the world a better place. GGCC is an airport after all.
