God Cares

Sometimes I feel like my everyday troubles and issues are not worth bothering God about. I subconsciously think he has bigger problems to deal with like wars, famine, pestilence, etc. Why should I bug him about my minor struggles which if I think about it are oftentimes “first world” problems.

However, when I get thinking that way, I am really putting limits on God and making him a smaller God than he really is. I should probably let God decide. He decided to provide food for 5,000. He decided to provide wine at a wedding. He cared enough about people to heal them, raise them from the dead and provide answers to them if they came to him in the middle of the night or in the middle of the day at a well.

He cares about us too and we can take immense comfort in the truth that God cares. “Cast all your cares upon him for he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

Another verse that illustrates this truth is in Zephaniah, which states: “The Lord your God is with you. He is mighty to deliver. He takes great delight in you. He will quiet you with His love. He rejoices over you with singing.” (3:17)

When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment
is added I get several e-mails with the same comment.

Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Bless you!
