Food for Thought on Gratitude

I love quotes...never get tired of the good ones. This week I am focusing on quotes about gratitude. As I have looked these over however, I'm praying that the concept of gratitude will be one that I focus on all the time, not just at this time of the year. An attitude of gratitude is very difficult to maintain. I am already finding this week that it certainly does not come naturally and it is hard to keep it up. But in those moments of centered prayer and thanksgiving I realize how blessed I am, and how good God is. Here's some food for thought:

“One single grateful thought towards heaven, is the most perfect prayer.”
- Minna von Barnhelm

“Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.”
- John Milton

“Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.”
- William Arthur Ward

“We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.”
- Cynthia Ozick

“There is a calmness to a life lived in gratitude, a quiet joy.”
- Ralph H. Blum

"Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness."
- Colossians 2:7

In gratitude,

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.

I have always disliked the idea because of
the expenses. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using
Movable-type on numerous websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform.
I have heard good things about Is there a way I
can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind
of help would be greatly appreciated!
