Fear Not!

From "A network for Grateful Living, the Word For The Day" which hit my inbox at 1am:

It is a huge danger to pretend that awful things do not happen. But you need enough hope to keep going. I am trying to make hope. Flowers grow out of darkness. ~ Corita Kent

I am not a "worrier" and I don't seem to get overly anxious about things I cannot control. I know I'm fortunate in those regards and for many other things in my "first world" life. Worry and anxiety is something that many people just seem to be born with, it's part of their personality, I guess? As we watch sporting events being canceled, work places instituting mandatory "work from home," schools closing, and the stock market plunging lower and lower, it is my hope that those folks who are consumed by worry and anxiety will find some sense of calm and peace. Now is the time to look out for one another.

Isaiah 41:10 ......do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
