Ever Present

This morning, as I look out on the fresh fallen (and still falling!) snow, I'm thinking about how different the landscape looks than a few days ago. What was brown and dirty looking is now clean and covered in white. An analogy comes to mind... God's love and mercy for us   is like a fresh blanket of snow, covering our brokenness and shortcomings. Let that thought soak in... And remember that unlike the snow that will be melting away in the coming days, God's love and mercy remains with us.

Jude 20-21: But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love of God; look forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
