Enough Prayer?

Is there ever enough prayer?
Is there ever too much prayer?
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us, “ Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
This is a pretty tall command! What to pray for could be unending...
Prayer is keeping company with God, and He enjoys the company!
God’s never too busy to listen to us. God’s power is released in me when I pray.
This past month has definitely put my prayer life on overdrive on God’s front porch. My husband had two major Spinal Cord surgeries within ten days of each other. It was a true roller coaster of a ride with ups, downs, and way too many curves!
I had to put my faith and full trust in the power of prayer. The book, “Transforming Prayer,”  by Daniel Henderson was/is a powerful support.  I needed to change my perspective by putting God First, instead of the circumstances at hand.
Do we really understand the power of prayer? If we pray long enough and sincere enough, are we expecting a ‘yes’ for our requests?
Do we accept God’s timing and forgo our impatience?
We are challenged to be people of prayer. How do we accept or react to God’s answer?
Pray...
   Humbly
   Expectantly
   Persistently
   Confidently
   Believingly

Have a Blessed day, a gift from God!
