Do You Have a Desire to Get Into the Bible More During 2011?

Not sure where to start? Here are a couple of resources that are easy to use, aren't overwhelming but help you to connect with God by listening to God through the words of God's story. May we be blessed by learning to hear God's voice and getting into God's heart.

1. The Daily Texts 2011 is a selection of Bible texts & prayers selected annually by the Moravian Church and shared worldwide since 1731. We have copies of this little book for sale for $10. Contact Nancy if you want to get one. Or, here is an online link: http://www.mountcarmelministries.com/grow-in-the-word/daily-texts/2. The American Bible society puts together a list of daily Bible readings each year organized around the church seasons and calendar. Here's an online link, http://dailybible.americanbible.org/ or, click here for a pdf of the daily readings.

3. Another great, recent release of Daily Prayer and daily scripture readings is from the book: Common Prayer: A Liturgy for Ordinary Radicals, link here http://www.amazon.com/Common-Prayer-Liturgy-Ordinary-Radicals/dp/0310326192/ref=tmm_hrd_title_0 This book has prayers, readings and songs to be used individually or in small groups.

God bless you,
Vikki
