Counting the Hours

Where does the hour go? You know, when we spring forward tonight to Daylight Saving Time. What happens to that hour? I suppose we’ll get it back in the fall, but it sure seems like it’s just gone.

I often seem to “lose” an hour – or two. Not just when we change to Daylight Saving Time, but all through the days of my year. I can get lost in a book or surfing the internet for dinner recipes.

That’s one thing I like about the season of Lent. It helps me be intentional with my hours and focus on spending more of the “lost” hours with Jesus. I’m thrilled we are using a Lent daily devotion titled Sacred Space. You can pick up a hard copy of this resource for $2 tomorrow at worship or you can check out the online version at

May our prayers and talks with Jesus be intentional and open, so that we might be inspired to living the life God dreams we can.

We’ll be looking for you tomorrow at 9:00 or 10:30 am MDT (Mountain Daylight Time!) Talking to Jesus, letting go of worry and building up our spiritual inner room will be our focus. It won’t be the same without you.

God bless you,
