The word clarity is a noun that by definition means, “the quality of being clear, in particular the quality of coherence and intelligibility; the quality of being easy to see or hear; the quality of being certain or definite; the quality of transparency or purity.”

God cannot ever be defined as being clear…. or can He?

Some will argue that God is surely not easy to see and quite often hard to hear, but isn’t His love certain, definite and of the purest form?

Again, Ironic.

I often pray to God that He will provide me with more clarity. I pray for His help communicating my wants and needs to my partner, friends and family more clearly. I pray for a clear conscience. I pray for the uncertain future or what’s for dinner, or, if my child will grow up to be a decent human being or not. Once again, the need for clarity.

But.. that brings me back to the literal definition of the word and its irony. God Himself may not always be easy to see or hear but His love is pure and it is single handedly the clearest (is that even a word?) ideal we can wrap our minds around. God’s got you.

And just like that. Everything becomes clear.

Have Faith.

Love Wins.

And sometimes through the struggle we find…Clarity
