I was remembering about this time several years back when my Dad passed away. It was a sad time for the family but now, I think about all the good times I had with my Dad. He liked to bowl and always had a great time at the bowling alley. That’s how I got interested in it and joined a league when I got older. He loved to go to supermarkets to get great deals on food. He was a coupon master. Sometimes the store owed him money. When there was a good deal, he used to get the limit and go back again but with a different cashier. I don’t shop that way, but it was interesting to see him do that. He worked a lot but we always looked forward to days he was off. I cherished those days and moments. He didn’t see me get married and never met my beautiful wife. I know that families get into arguments, but if your parents or grandparents are still alive, you have to put aside those differences and cherish those moments you have with them. Take time to visit them and talk to them. See how things are going with them. Take care of things for them. You will definitely appreciate the moments you had with them.

With our Father God, I do cherish all the moments I have with Him as well. Prayer is such a powerful thing. It connects us with God and binds our relationship with Him. I pray at the start of the day and end of the day. It helps me remember that God is in control and Jesus saved my life. I am so grateful for all the prayer moments I have. Attending church is another moment I cherish in my life. The music is wonderful. Listening to sermons just helps strengthen my walk with Christ. I cannot take it for granted. There are many places in the world that don’t have the good news and it is a shame. Fellowship group meetings are most appreciated. Getting together with other followers discussing things that help me build my Christian life is a wonderful thing. I look forward and cherish all the fellowship groups I’ve attended.

Some people say that human life is short. It is true. Sometimes we run around so much doing things in this life that we miss those precious moments with our Father God. Always look for them. It is sometimes very easy to miss. Always cherish those moments we have with the people in our lives. Families, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ are so important in our lives. I believe it makes life worth living.

In Christ,
