Life should not only be lived, it should be celebrated. - Osho

When do you celebrate? We celebrate birthdays and Hallmark and florists insure we celebrate marriage anniversaries. We celebrate when our team wins. We celebrate graduations and Christmas and Easter.

We certainly celebrate the big things. But do we celebrate the small things? Is it important to celebrate daily?

“Purposeful celebrations will temporarily lift our burdens, connect us to each other and God and hopefully, in the long term, help to transform us into grateful men and women.” Dorothy Greco in Celebration is a Spiritual Discipline, 10/20/14, relevantmagazine.com

May we be people who celebrate! Celebrate making that green light. Celebrate being in the fastest moving line at the store. Celebrate when dinner turns out to taste good. Celebrate when the sun shines. Celebrate when it snows. Celebrate small wins, even in the midst of suffering. Celebrate when someone lets us cut in traffic when we’re headed to a scary appointment.

Let’s celebrate in spite of all the bad news streaming at us endlessly.

Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise! Psalm 47:1

Tomorrow we gather at 10:00 am (ONE SERVICE ONLY) to celebrate another year of GGCC. In fact, 15 years of GGCC! We’ll need you to make the celebration complete.

Grace be with you,
