Can You Hear Me Now?

Can you hear me now?  I can't tell you how many times I've said that on my phone or I've heard someone else say it.  It's become a rather ubiquitous phrase.  We are interrupted or we don't get to say what we want to.  It's frustrating to lose a conversation in the middle of it.

I think God says that to us all the time.  And we don't realize it.  Moses let his attention be caught by a burning bush and heard the voice of God.   How many "burning bushes" do I walk by each day and thus miss God's voice?

I believe that God still speaks today.  One reason we gather as the people of God is to help remind one another of the ways that God is speaking to us.  We help each other notice the seemingly little things where God is saying, "Can you hear me now?

We'll be looking for you at 9 or 10:30 am Sunday.
