Be a part of Children’s Church (and bring a friend)!

Children’s Church is a time to experience God in a fun way with other kids your age. It is a way for kids to learn and grow in God’s love and faith in an environment suited just for them. Jesus had a special love for children and we try to share that same love as Jesus would expect. Did you ever wonder just what those kiddos do that leave so enthusiastically for Children’s Church? Here’s a sneak preview:

Children’s Church begins with a quick round of introductions and sharing highs and lows so everyone feels welcome. Younger kids learn from the older kids how to act and older kids help younger kids when a “more experienced” hand is needed. Each week presents good team building opportunities. We talk about the lesson theme and explain just exactly what it means. We often times listen to a short video. After that, it’s time for the lesson, where we learn something new each week from the Bible. Sometimes the older kids read the lesson and then we talk about what it is telling us. It’s a chance to learn about the why’s and what if’s of the lesson. We might also learn a new song, too. We usually have some time at the end to do a simple craft or play a short game. Then it’s back to church with the adults. If this sounds like something you wouldn’t want to miss, please join us, and be sure to bring a friend!

Dear God, thanks for allowing us the opportunity to worship with you in a kid-friendly way and for giving us the chance to learn about you with our friends or brother/sisters. You’re the Greatest and we are enjoying getting to learn more about you and have some fun with our church friends, too. AMEN
