Be a lamp...

Every night around 1am, a message from "A Network for Grateful Living" hits my inbox. It is one of the few emails I actually anticipate with enthusiasm. The following message came recently, on Nov. 1st to be exact. It is a quote by 13th-century Persian poet, scholar and theologian Rumi. I think about the words often, and have shared it many times now with others. If I had to condense what is at the heart of my spiritual life, what I think may be God's desire for any of us, this message comes as close as anything else I've heard...

"Be a lamp or a lifeboat or a ladder. Help someone's soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd."  ~ Rumi

Howdy! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I
could find a captcha plugin for my comment form?
I'm using the same blog platform as yours and I'm having difficulty
finding one? Thanks a lot!

You actually make it seem so easy along with your presentation however I
in finding this matter to be really something that
I think I would never understand. It kind of feels too complicated and very wide for me.
I am having a look forward on your next submit, I
will try to get the dangle of it!
