15 Year Mission

Dear Visionaries,

On Sunday we will celebrate our 15th Annual Congregational Celebration and Worship!

There is one service at 10am, with the full celebration and approval of the 2019 budget to immediately follow worship.

John 1:14 tells us, “The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood.”  The word is the content and the flesh is the form.  “You were created to love and be loved, that is the gospel's message.” ~Chris Webb. God’s love is the content!

The “form” is you. However, God's love is carried within you that strikes another with relevance in God’s chosen form, or Jesus in the ”flesh” in our “neighborhood.” Lovers of Christ ask two questions. First, what is God saying? Second, what am I going to do about it?   When we prayerfully ask such questions we become the “form” Jesus' love takes in the “neighborhood.”

Let us gather this Sunday in celebration of the multitude of ways God has first LOVED US and  directed our tribe to serve together in one mission of LOVE for 15 years!

*You are also invited to attend the Congregational Advance led by Eric Swanson this Saturday at Heflebower Funeral Home in Highlands Ranch. See the church web site for details.*

Prayers: for the Congregational Celebration and God's continued provision for ministry, for the Advance led by Eric Swanson on Saturday, for Fred Berner, who is currently in Texas recovering from a broken leg.

Imagine the church as a train. We are moving forward with power. God’s love calls upon both Saints and Sinners to climb on board. Keep in mind that Martin Luther, the 16th century church reformer, defined a “saint as a forgiven sinner.”  You don’t need a ticket just climb on board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Unh90zzIAWA

Thank you for allowing me to serve as the Lead Pastor of GGCC for 15 years.  I cannot fathom another calling that would have afforded me such purpose and meaning.

Still in One Peace,

Pastor David J. Jensen
